So if your max is 130 then I would put in 129.96 the odd pence at the end tends to confuse people.

Normal people or you?

Why does it confuse them?

The times I put odd pence in tend to be more successful. For instance if someones max is £30 and you put in £30.02 then their highest bid is out bid by a measily 2p.

If I don't think ~ does that mean I am not?

If its something I really want the best strategy I've found is to wait till the auction is almost over and then open 2 brower windows. Set one to the auction itself and set the other one up as if you are bidding to the maximum you are prepared to bid but dont hit confirm till you have about 10 seconds left on the clock.

Bidding you maximum early on can drive the price up as people will see if you are prepared to bid less than you oeverall.

Dashed cunning!

Not as cunning as me. While you lot were banging on about saxaphones and that den of ciminals that is Ebay I have hacked the Virtual-Pub and have my own control panel. So watch it right.  eyes:

One important piece of advice Nick, before you confirm the bid make sure you have entered the right amount or you can end up massively out of pocket like this idiot:

Average price for an exec is around the £150 - £250 mark.
