Nick's all new ROOFER blog

Saturday: some blokes arrive and put up some scaffolding - but not all of it.
Sunday: some more blokes arrive, declare that the previous blokes have done it all wrong, take down scaffolding, start again and leave it unfinished.
Monday: some other blokes arrive and complete scaffolding

Mrs Nick, paranoid about burglars, instructs that all windows shall henceforth be locked.

Tuesday: Roofer arrives and starts bashing the roof about
Asks if we have a copy of the spec (after 4 hours) since he has forgotten some important aspects of the job. Tell him I can't find it
Roofer locates his copy and asks for cheque for £7000 (50% of total cost of job) eeek:

Roofer carries on bashing about above my head

Large amount of soot arrives in my office via chimbley eeek: evil:

They are here for three weeks cussing:
