Radio?

Wakes me up (sometimes) in the morning.

Pretty much gave up on radio when Kenny & Cash finished on Capital.
Remember being on shift when Capital became the first commercial station.

I thought he was on it?

On his way to check on US turnip futures . . .

Well, someone had to say it!

IME, DAB Radio has an annoying habit of sounding as though you've dunked the radio into a bucket of water!

Absolutely useless!

Ooo what was the birdsong one?  It's usually Humphries until Mr C comes to and switches the TV on evil:  he then proceeds to get grumpier by the minute at the quality of the program/the way the news is delivered what is reported the weather reporters.  I have suggested that he doesn't watch the program but  the answer is always no. Shrugs:

Birdsong was taken off DAB, reason unknown. Try this:

Don't forget "Hilversum", a proper wireless always has that on the dial as well.

I know nothing of this DAB of which you jest ..... I do, however, remember Dab-It-Off which we used in the RAF to get marks off our uniforms and save on dry cleaning bills...... It stunk to high heaven!

Contents of the green pump-action fire extinguishers was our preferred answer to 'stains'
