Bloody Weather Forecasters
« on: April 28, 2008, 08:12:57 AM »
When the Met Office were based at Bracknell one of there proud boasts was that they had one of the most powerful computers in the world. Since they moved to Exeter I reckon they use pine cones, a clump of seaweed and ask how grannies rheumatism is before deciding on the weather forecast

On Friday they forecast a great day for Saturday, and then lots of rain on Sunday. So, a great day in the Cotswolds on Saturday was had. On Sunday the day started off with heavy rain. Within half an hour it had stopped. So odds and sods were done through the day while it was supposed to have been pissing down outside. We could have fired up the barbie for the first time this year

I bet Barman’s forecast always says “scorchio”

Anyway, here’s tomorrows forecast from those barstewards at Exeter

LiFe - It's an "F" in lie

Oh ye prophets of doom and despair.

Next weekend will be lovely here ~ SWMBO is taking herself and the puppies to visit her mother.
Yours truly (AKA The Old Curmudgeon) is not going  cloud9:

I shall spend the day in bed with the newspapers. whistle:

rubschin: Well they did mention the possibility of sleet and thunder ~ not to mention high winds later in the day.

Particularly in the South and South East
