Quite so. I had one e mail from a nutter at our old school. She lives in Cyprus!! eeek:

She was shagging some kid's dad at lunchtimes and ended up as the stepmother of a boy in the year below us! eeek:

Which is why I will not go near Friends Reunited. If I want to be in touch with someone I already am. If I am not "In touch" it is because I don't bloody want to be. evil:

I started using it when we organised a reunion of our old computer department and it was very useful. I did start to understand just how much you can find out people through the interweb and also how careless people are, about what they put onto sites.

Anyway, off to find TMR now. Will find a suitable card for him.

Has anyone been on there recently?

I have been on there yesterday and today and it has got some strange changes. If you go to trace a female, using her maiden name it now displays her married when you check the profile!

Also it produces info from whatever schools etc. you have set yourself up in, and these display the married name instead of the maiden name you see in the listings.

I hadn’t been on there for years then I got a message from somebody the other day – cost me £7.50 to reply!  cussing:

Just to spoil your evening, Friends Reunited now do it all FOC due to how easy it is for people can contact old friends etc by using sites such as Facebook, Myspace etc

I think that some people (females really) will be scared off when they see what the changes now let you see.

I have just got an email from FR saying a friend is trying to contact me.

On checking, I don't remember her.

She appears to have been at school with my ex.  scared2:
