Well good luck ~ I know that some "modern" varieties are plant and grow in one season but the old fashioned way was to plant last year to eat this. I have never had any success with the new fangled ones but reverted to a couple of pots of "older" varieties last year and am waiting hopefully for a result this June/July. Trouble is what garden we have is north facing and gets little sun.
I have seen the Dutch growing them Hydroponically (sp?) with great success.
