Phew!

It's just that I was dozing when you shouted and I sort of assumed  redface:

Cheam is an extremely nice place Nicholas and I would thank you to change/remove your signature   evil:

It is inside the M25, hence full of dusky, drug-dealing foreigners, harlots and cocaine-sniffing Porsche drivers.  noooo:

We Lexus drivers laugh at those fools. More of a problem is the invading turnip-sniffers - now they really are a menace in their Massey Fergusons...

I suspect that is one extra large load of slurry coming toward Cheam, slowly.

Planted out the strawberries? Bit late aren't you ~ or is next year's crop?

To eat them this year they should have been planted Late Summer/Early Autumn LAST year.

Well good luck ~ I know that some "modern" varieties are plant and grow in one season but the old fashioned way was to plant last year to eat this. I have never had any success with the new fangled ones but reverted to a couple of pots of "older" varieties last year and am waiting hopefully for a result this June/July. Trouble is what garden we have is north facing and gets little sun.
I have seen the Dutch growing them Hydroponically (sp?) with great success.

I think that these were planted last year for growing this. From the garden centre. We have some of the old ones for next year, but wanted some that would fruit this year. Mr Wench's gardening is getting a bit out of hand.

Bless!  There are Solar Systems that don't last as long as a Lexus (thanks JC), a bit of Beagle Bladder Bile is hardly going to affect it  ;D
