Still, at least the shops are open there.

Bank holidays here everything is closed. See also Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.

Can I say yes to all the options except the top one? It's because of all the other options that means that there is nothing glorious about them

And I agree about the Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday opening. There's something quaintly British about traditional butchers being closed during these periods

Actually, I like the shop closing and the perverse hours they keep here (two hour lunch closures, etc.).  happy088
