Gosport ~ know it well. It is in Hampshire, just across the water from Portsmouth, there is a ferry (foot passengers and bicycles only). How can I best describe it to you? .................. Put it this way ~ If God wanted to give the country an enema Gosport is where He would put the tube. Personally I have only ever gone there when it has been impossible to refuse.
That said it is right next door to Lee on Solent which is quite nice and refined.

That is to make sure you do have a record so you will fit in.

Gosport is a cross between Toxteth and Hull, but without the nice people and jolly accents.

Do you have a stabproof vest?

I can echo Snoopy and Darwin's comments up-thread. I went twice, the second time because I couldn't believe it the first time around. The only place I know where they have bouncers on the pub doors in the afternoon
