Oh ~ You are wearing other people clothes ~ How very errrrrrrr ............ well one hesitates to use the word.
I'm not keen either... still if I puke up we won't have to worry about getting it cleaned...  whistle:

Yessss ~ Well ~ it's alright for those that like that sort of thing I suppose but frankly I have never subscribed to the theory that one should spend thousands on a dress for the bride and then turn up in borrowed clothing oneself. If a chap can't afford a decent suit then one wonders if he can actually be relied upon to support the bride later. Don't suppose he has a uniform either?
Don't start...  noooo:

All the men are going to look the same, suits, shoes the lot...

Fashion my dear boy...

Sorry ~ backs off from an obviously sore subject ~ except to say that I have always refused to play that particular game on principle. Only one bride tried to insist ~ I refused the invitation. Her loss not mine as I sent the expected cheque to the RAF Association instead and mailed her the receipt later.

My eldest daughter was not amused by my suggestion that she combined traditions and borrowed a blue wedding dress instead of buying one for the GDP of Bahrain.

I was out Farnham Way at lunch time on the other side of town from where I suspect the event was taking place. I did notice lots of "massive rug" sale signs pointing to Odiham. Coincidence?

BM and LL should be at the "acrimony and recrimination" stage by now.

I wonder what it will turn out he did wrong?

Everything he did and everything he said is the default setting for such events.

Should we change this thread title to Miss Piggy and Mr Piggy (as is) do you think?

Or perhaps Miss Piggy and Kermit?

I'm off to a wedding this weekend. I hope the groom and best man are not in uniform. They are both traffic wardens.

Nick, did the nuptials take place ?. Given your anal, control freak approach to life and love of supposed chaos, you would perfect as a professional wedding organiser. Or wedding singer ?

I don't recognise the 'control freak' part.
