Frankly I feel it is time for the UK to call it a day. Wogan seems to be of the same impression. Leave them to play their games, we are about the biggest contributor to the enourmous costs so it would be interesting to see how long they will last without the BBC and its money and expertise.
Wogan's whole career has been built of an ability to know when to say enough is enough, I suspect he knows the jig is up on this annual farce.
