I saw this on the telly this morning ? quite remarkable really.

I think it clearly shows that scameras are for revenue generation and not to reduce speed and accidents or such events would surely be taken more seriously?

It's not about whether cameras are for revenue collection but about abusing a position of authority. If anything police speeding (if not showing a flashing blue light) should be treated more harshly than Joe public as the police should be setting an example to the rest of us.

Dunno ~ but I do know that one of those in North Wales was issued to a very senior officer by a traffic PC who refused to allow it to be withdrawn (or at least so my local bobby told me)
