Late John Prescott delays EasyJet flight from Cyprus

John Prescott has Demetris Christofias, the president of Cyprus, to thank for getting him back from his junket to the island in time for the vital Commons vote on counter-terrorism.

After addressing the Institute of Travel and Tourism for his customary fee, the former deputy prime minister arrived at the airport at Paphos with only 15 mintues to go before his easyJet flight was about to take off.
