A Goat is a goat ~ a Ram is a male sheep (AKA A Tup).
Goats are usually known as Nanny Goats (female) Billy Goats (Male)

All the research you need to know ~ Oh and Goats drown in swimming pools that careless people leave uncovered ~ they also eat almost anything whereas sheep eat mainly grass.
