Zut alors!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7458683.stm

Makes me wonder what other announcements could do with a change of accent  rubschin:
Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"

My mum always said that the (female) announcer at Slough station had 'a lovely voice'...

She could never understand how she was always on duty whatever time she traveled through there either...   ::)

I rather fancy the Central Line at Bank could do with something to relieve the tedium of the "Mind the Gap - Stand clear of the doors". Given the origins of most of the station staff there perhaps it should be preceeded by a loud teeth sucking and spoken with a broad West Indian Accent.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Come to think of it, why not the Speaking Clock in the style of Stephen Hawking, with a full explanation of his theory of time, on the hour!  ;D

There was a young woman named Bright,
Who traveled much faster than light.
She set out one day In a relative way,
And returned home the previous night.
