Police in Cornwall are checking local hospitals to try to find an arsonist who threw a petrol bomb at Truro City chairman Kevin Heaney's car. The Mercedes, which was parked outside Mr Heaney's house, suffered £1,500 worth of damage to it in the attack in Lemon Street on Thursday evening. Officers are looking for a man in his 20s wearing motorcycle gear. He is believed to have set fire to his own hair in the attack and police say he is likely to be scarred. Detectives particularly want to hear from local hospitals and doctors' surgeries who may have treated the man, who also damaged a garage door at the multi-millionaire property developer's home during the attack. The suspected assailant rode off on a black and yellow motorbike. Nobody else was hurt in the attack.
