Well if you click the '+' or the '-' by the thread sections they expand or collapse innit. So one can hide the 'welcome' section for example.

Go to the "Welcome" page that shows all the various bars. You will see that it has a little minus sign at the left quite near the top. Click on that and all the various options contract and the little minus becomes a plus. Click on the plus and the whole thing EXPANDS to reveal all the various bars. You can do this in the individual bars as well so that you can contract the topics or expand them. Clever innit  ;D
