Won't the eggs go all over the place?

We seem to be having a buffet as Minimus has a little friend round, the child is to be accompanied by his mother and we have no idea what they eat other than the boy is "fussy" (AKA Picky and in need of a slap).
Also THW is at choir practice after school until 16.30, Minimus and his little friend will be going to Beavers 17.15 to 18.15 (little friend is not sure about joining so is going as a "guest" for an hour) and then Minor will be at Cubs  from 18.45 until 20.30 hrs.

I have been instructed to prepare suitable "finger food"  ::)

That's about what I had in mind. Potato salad eh ...... SWMBO doesn't like mayo (I know, I know but she only revealed that flaw after the wedding) and of course it has eggs in but the rest of us might  rubschin:

I was thinking cucumber sarnies.

Hot dog/frankfurters normally go down pretty well too. They are pretty grab and go.

Another good idea ~ thanks

Problem is I was trying to do it with existing resources as both boys are on inset days (today and tomorrow FFS!) SWMBO is at work and I really don't want to shop with these two in tow.
