Brother Wench came to "help"'with Dress selection. There is nothing on display that could cause embarrassment!!! He really is quite prudish!

In the absence of an invitation (which I assume is "Lost in the Post") I eagerly await the photos of the event.

Not flogging off your Davy Crockett hat or the Tricorn are you? You'll need the latter for the Goose Fair.

:(

We are only inviting 40 people. We've already had a bust up with Mr Wench's Dad about the numbers.  noooo:

Photos will be forth coming after the event of course, but it isn't till March so you have a bit of a wait!

'Spec he wanted to invite a hooooooge Welsh contingent of family he hasn't spoken to in years.
Don't have it girl... they will only speak to one another "in tongues". Rude b@st@rds!

The one who pays for the reception gets some say but I'm betting that won't be him. Anyway it is the Bride's day and she has the final veto!

I'm glad to hear the Wenchy foot has been put down with a firm hand!

I did remember it was not until March and I was only teasing. OK if I wear a virtual button hole on the day?

Have you got a "Wedding List" .... for the VP whip round like. If we start now and keep BM's motor part buying fingers out of it we might manage a toaster.

I see you have trained BM to get your post for you.  whistle:

That was exactly what he wanted. To invite family I've never even met and Mr Wench and I have been together for nearly nine years!

Wenchy has put her foot down on a number of things so far!  ;)

As for a present, that is a lovely thought although completely necessary especially considering I haven't been around much!  redface:

Although what does one do, we have most things we need! Mr Wench thinks lists are tacky, I think if we don't have one people will think we are asking for cash, bit of a tough one. Current thinking is maybe ask for vouchers for somewhere? But again, pretty tacky/common according to some, bit of a minefield.

Just leave it to the common sense of your friends and write insincere letter of thanks to the others.

EBay may be useful ~ to dispose of the surplus.... I understand that is the fashion.

I think most of our friends regift! There has been a dodgy set of napkins doing the rounds for the last couple of years!
