They taste nicer and hold together better than ordinary bread rolls. I find the ordinary ones tend to disintegrate by the time you have the burger, mayo and onions in them.

I'm only jealous ~ ask for such things in our local bakers and they jabber at one another in Welsh and then say "We don't do such things here". Ciabatta rolls from Sainsbugs are crap and those from Morrisons aren't much better.

I get ours from the deli in the village. Although at a pinch those half baked things from the supermarket will do.
