Do it! How are you storing it?

Wrap it tightly in foil and then store it in the tin. That way when you feed it all the fumes and liquid stay with the cake. When you poke it with the skewer don't poke all the way through, just about half way. And turn it over ever week so you are feeding a different side.

Oh yes! Most of the family use whisky but Brother Wench, Father Wench and I seem to be allergic to it so we use brandy. Stick skewer holes in it and once a week pour the booze over.  cloud9:

Allergic to whisky!

You are doomed.  noooo:

No idea ~ SMBO failed to answer my question prior to departing to work. It is  fencing club night which means that it will be pandemonium anyway and the vegetarian BF will be here too. I may get myself a curry from the local takeaway and leave them to it.

We had swimming and badminton last night.
Tonight I have one small boy to entertain, one to take to fencing by 7pm, picking up his friend en route. THW + spotted bf  to take to fencing or 8pm collecting small boy and friend and returning them home thence back to the fencing club to pick up THW and spotted yoof. I must then take THW and spotted yoof to his house and endure 10 minutes of them snogging their goodbyes at his gate before I return home with seething THW beside me. She will be seething because that what she does best and because she likes to practice it on me it seems. Her excuse will be that I was impatient at their goodbyes ~ it is not as if he is off to war or anything, she has been with him all day and will be back with him on the school bus in the morning. ::)
From picking up boys from school at 3.15 through to 9.30 this evening my arse will not touch down. This is not how I planned to spend my retirement. evil:
