TBH he doesn't mind killing birds but although he is a butcher and has been for 40 years he dislikes acting as the slaughterman. Each to his own specialisation I guess. ALSO remember there are very strict laws about how and where livestock may be slaughtered in the UK.
He has butchered the odd road kill deer though.

Beautiful evening here, had tea out on the patio (none of that "dinner" bollocks here, salmon, new potatoes and salad went down a treat
