Oop 'ere dinner is eaten at twelve noon and tea at 5pm, all most discombobulating but we too had 'dinner ladies' at schools up and down the country.

When living in Malvern and all points south and west we had lunch at about 1pm and supper at about 7pm.  Do much the same here if only to confuse the locals.

I used to send the kids' "Dinner" money to the various schools in an envelope marked LUNCH MONEY in big black letters. eveilgrin:



Can't do that any more as it's all "Parent Pay" which is like Pay Pal but for schools so that no cash has to go into schools any more.
