Well said  :thumbsup:  We're similar but we do do this wheeze with my brother and his wife of going for a meal  with the trick being taking it in turns to surprise the others by finding a restaurant nationality theme we've not done before.

Starting to get difficult to find new nosh themes after over 20 years.

I couldn't agree more. Even on birthdays, rather than token gifts we spend the money on a wonderful night out. Amazing memories and great food is better than a bottle of perfume.
