I agree about not going for the purgatives but this was one that sort of crept up on me unexpected like.

SWWLTBO decided to cook tonight after I had said "When I pick up the daughter later shall I get us a ruby?"
She made no reply but vanished into the kitchen there to prepare, or so I thought, the boys tea. Within the half hour a steaming dish of curry and rice was placed before me with the words "Why spend money getting a takeaway?"

I suppose I could have told her but I felt that as she had taken the trouble, made the effort etc. I should, in the interests of harmony for the rest of the weekend, eat the bloody thing  sick2:.

Not at all what I had in mind.

ALSO
I have yet to break the news that I am meeting lil bruvver for brekky and thence to some timber clearing at his old house tomorrow.  whistle:

MEAT!

Yes he will no doubt have some of that for me too ~ prolly some nice prime steaks cut by his own fair hand.

We are going bowling tomorrow and thence on to eat somewhere awful. It is the choice of birthday treat selected by Minimus who will be eight on Monday ~ Our party will include 6 little boys. Wanna swap?

Tonight: Butternut Squash and Mushroom Risotto (with Lamb chops for the non vegetarians among us ie all but THW and her B/F ~ not that she is a veggie except when he is here  ::))
