I couldn't eat a whole one of either  eeek:

Ostrich is good but doesn't have a great deal of taste...  noooo:

Are you sure you had ostrich BM? Every time I've eaten it there has been a natural slightly spicy flavour to it.  rubschin:

We used to have an Ostrich farm just up the road... I'm fairly sure they weren't substituting something else...  ;)

Precisely...

Guy that ran the Ostrich farm here was a chef in a restaurant in the village... He could make it taste lovely with lots of spices or sauces but without...  noooo:

Full of protein and low in fat tho...

We used to have an Ostrich farm just up the road and I used to go down at night with my shotgun... I'm fairly sure they weren't substituting something else as I poached them myself...  ;)

First had ostrich when I was working as a commis chef so I saw it being prepared. Other then a little olive oil there was nothing else added to it.

Yes, some of their feathers are garish. They need advice from Tipsy's Eldest. He's good with colours. whistle:
You must be thinking of Peacock not Ostrich.
Presumably waiting for the side effects does that?
