Pie filling ready, pastry rolled and in tin, greaseproof paper on top of it and can I find the baking beans? Can I f*ck!

So to the bat phone and phone the Bat.

"Hellooooo my little  angel1 ~ where would I find the baking beans?"

angel1 "In the tins cupboard, next to the tomatoes."

evil: "No my little treasure ~ the BAKING BEANS not the baked beans"

angel1 "In the baking cupboard of course"

evil: "I've looked there, obviously, and they ARE NOT!"

angel1 "They should be ........... are you looking in the right baking cupboard?"

eeek: "We have more than one cupboard designated for baking stuff"

angel1 "Oh yes, There are three"

Banghead "I'll go and hunt in the other two then"

angel1 "Happy to be able to help ~ I am looking forward to this."

You know, I had the same thought this morning. I knew they'd be somwhere, but I couldn't be arsed to move everything around or out of the cupboard to find them. So, good old Jusrol here, if it's good enough for Delia  sleep017, it's good enough for me. Even the packet proclaims, "a Delia CHEAT ingredient"

I've always wanted some of those! I always end up using whatever revolting dried pulse is about.

For dinner tonight we had turkey and spinach curry on a bed of lemon and tumeric rice. Followed by slimming mousse of the mandarin flavour.

Tomorrow is pomme du terre avec les fromage du cottage et haricot rouge.

Wouldn't it be more slimming if you didn't eat it...?  rubschin:

I've known people do things that stupid in the kitchen before. lol:

One of the most memorable was the dozy bint who decided to microwave a tin of soup, literally. You can imagine the results.  noooo:
