Did that in France once  -so proud of my newly acquired second language- and got a plate of birds (beaks, toes ,feathers !! the lot) -had to eat it,of course- stiff upper lip & all that . noooo:

Not a chance would I eat that.

Someone bought me some soup yesterday which was disgusterous. Cost her about ?4 for the soup. I felt duty bound to eat it but had a spoonful , screwed up my face, and put the lid back on the pot.
