You deserve a large scotch if only to take the taste away, or tonight's special cocktail  bond:

I am still struggling to understand
1) how you can feck up spag bol
2) why you ever let the woman in the kitchen

Mr Wench has three approved meals he is allowed to cook. He cooks twice a week rotating his limited repertoire. He cooks only those three meals AND NOTHING ELSE

To be fair I didn't marry her for her cooking skills ~ it's just that these days  surrender:

I CAN COOK! SO CAN LL!

Just because you two weren't looking at the bigger picture is no reason to be cross now!

eeek: Are you suggesting that my wife's arse isn't the bigger picture? ~ Let me assure you ...............

Seriously ~ in her comfort zone her cooking is fine. Move to anything that requires flair, elan, skill and a lightness of touch, a dash of inspiration or imagination and she is f*cked.
A diet of frozen fish products, oven chips, jacket potatoes (if I choose the fillings) overcooked steak and cremated roast joints is not my idea of culinary expertise ~ that's all I'm saying. She makes wonderful shortbread but lousy Spag Bol. Her cakes are very good although I make a better Victoria Sponge. Her pastry is ~ well let's just say I make sure we have Jus Roll in the freezer at all times.
Personally I don't think she has ever progressed from student cooking.

Then don't bitch about her cooking. You clearly had different priorities and it is too late to change now!
