BM was going to send me some figs ~ when he had a surplus recently. He failed to so do so I am taking the p*ss ~ OK?
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Step 2: add flour, eggs and nuts. Mix and bake. Done  angel1

It will be fine, not quite as tasty as it could be but will still taste good. Remember to feed it. That is the important bit.

As a family we store ours for a year. This started the year Granny forgot she had already baked one.  ::) The tradition has to be continued and it really does taste much richer so three years ago I made two. The next one will be made in January.

Oh yes! Most of the family use whisky but Brother Wench, Father Wench and I seem to be allergic to it so we use brandy. Stick skewer holes in it and once a week pour the booze over.  cloud9:
