Lasagne and garlic bread. All made properly and not from packets.  cloud9:

Mr Wench has had a pretty much life long aversion to fish, he puts it down to his Mother's experimental cooking during his early years and school dinners.

Has this aversion to produce from the watery depths been lifelong? I think we should be told ...  rubschin:
<inserts that popcorn emoticon, if he could find it... >

Yep - I am not a fickle creature - I have always detested fish  lol:

They are :-
smelly
slimey
got bones in em
have big bug eyes
scaley
did I say smelly

As for things like muscles , oysters, et al - they are just plain wrong - who thought eating mucus would ever be a good idea  noooo:

Squid / Octopus etc - all rate on the bizarre reichter scale of food groups - why not just eat tyres  Shrugs:

Prawns etc - you have to rip out the black thread vein before cooking and we all know what that is  sick2:

Crabs / lobsters  etc - the sound when you have to rip that shell open is horrible and the pinchers and things  just plain scary  scared2:

I hope that about covers it ...

Have you ever looked at men's feet?

Closely, I mean!

I hope that about covers it ...

eeek:  Indeed... but what about creatures on land?  And the beasts of the air?  Excluding men of course, Nick's covering that avenue...

Only the soles of their feet when they're running away  cry:

Nope it's just fish and some other foodstuffs

I have my own classifications of my foods of wrongness

Fish - naturally this has it's own section
Dirt food - beetroot and celery are fine examples of this foul tasting section  sick2:
Baby food - rice pudding, tapioca, semolina  sick2:
Sock food - goats cheese  sick2:
Miscellaneous - marmite, marzipan   sick2:

I see the Restaurant section of the VP is sadly lacking... We clearly need more posts on:

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

If you stuff some socks with camembert and then microwave them, you can have 'Camembert au Soq' which goes well with goat cheese salad  angel1

And red wine
