That is a lot of the problem with society today, too much ring pulling.

When I was a lad you dreamed of kissing the Papal ring but that was it, nowadays all the young mothers wear no ring but they still get pulled.

I expect the government has detailed information on the spread of the ring, but are sitting on it.
