I've just been to check the fridge. As I suspected!
Minimus is very fond of baked beans ~ nobody else much eats them so she tends to open a tin, put them into a saucepan, heats them all and serves a portion to the boy ~ the rest are left to cool until she deems them cold enough to put into the fridge. Next day they come out again and get reheated and he has another "portion" the remains going back into the fridge. Day three would, you would imagine, see the rest of them off but no, he gets a portion and the rest are put back into the fridge. There they sit, not enough for one portion but "too good to throw away". Why not give the kid a few more, who fecking counts baked beans anyway AND they are only 19 pence a bloody tin
And before you ask why not spoon out and heat just one portion at a time? Well she says (i) That it is unhealthy to leave things in an open tin because of the LEAD(?) and (ii) Open tins are a hazard but the saucepan won't cut anybody.
So why not give the poor little sod a few more beans on days 1,2 and 3?
