Smoked river cobbler here, w/rice.

Having just read this review I'm not so sure...  rubschin:

Quote
I bought this fish from my local Tesco for the first time and tried it on Saturday. On Sunday I spent the day vomiting and feeling very ill this continued into Monday and my body aches all over. My daughter who also had the fish started the same on Sunday evening and is also still recovering

It will be cooked and cautiously tasted... It might be then binned  scared2:

Sounds a lot better than the prospect of Vietnamese River Cobbler  cry:

Ok...  surrender:

Smoked Vietnamese River Cobbler is a total waste of time, an utterly disgusterous, bland, vapid, fake, limp, pathetic excuse for a fish. Its barely redeeming quality was its smokey flavour which looked like it was sprayed on like Paris Hilton's fake tan. My purchase, cautiously tasted and rejected, is as I type making its way through the Metropolis' sewers back to feckin' Vietnam, whence presumably it came  evil:
I was suckered in, hook, line and sinker by the promise of some exotic, flavoursome Eastern delight...  noooo:  It turned out to be damp 5mm foamcore with a jaundiced "Kiss-Me-Quick" coating.

I implore you never to go near this offering whatever its name; it's a sham of the first order  cussing:

Jamie Oliver mumbles highly about it. Sounded altogether too "cheffy" for my liking.
