Sort of yes. Three eggs, one tub of cottage cheese whisked together and poured over whatever you want to put in it. Oven for 20-40 mins.

Tapas then. I might give that a go ~ Serves how many?

Well that served Mr Wench and I for dinner redface: But we do eat like pigs. We had a salad and some bread with it and served it cold, think it would possibly fall apart if you tried to serve it hot. Think I used a nine inch cake tin to cook it in. The recipe said three eggs to 500g of cottage cheese. But I used the 300g tub and it was fine. Then mushrooms, bacon and ham but pretty much what you want. If I were making it bigger I would just use the 1egg:100g cottage cheese and it should be fine. The recipe also said 20 mins in the oven at 190 until golden and set but it took about 40 in mine.

rubschin: So without the meat but with some diced precooked potato and other veg (Broccoli etc) it would do nicely for the THW and her BF who are vegetarian. Nice one Wenchy ~ Ta!

Oh absolutely! Another variation had brocoli, sweetcorn, roasted pepper in it! That is on the menu for another day! Wasn't amazing but quite tasty and Mr Wench has said it can go on the regular menu rotation so can't have been all bad!

But we do eat like pigs.

Reminds me, on Newsnight yesterday they had a piece about a American farmer feeding his pigs on the food waste from the Las Vegas hotels.
So much food wasted... noooo:

Unlike some I do not go out of my way to make my own life harder.  ::)

In his case there are sound medical reasons for his not eating meat ~ in her case it is a case of teenage fad and the fancy she has that "This is the one with whom I will spend the rest of my life and if he can't eat meat then I will not" From devoted carnivore to vegetarian overnight ~ ain't young love wunnerful?

Now if you would care to have her round for a few weeks and try to talk sense to her I would be more than grateful ~ as it is and since I have to live with the fall-out I am just leaving well alone.

Frankly if it keeps her quiet she can eat sh*t for all I care.  rubschin: Come to think of it her mother's cooking .....................

I know and I indulge myself in bacon sarnies whenever she is around  eveilgrin: eveilgrin: eveilgrin: eveilgrin:

But the BF has some problem with his gut in that it cannot process animal protein (as in muscle/flesh etc). Eggs he may have and also cheese but in limited quantities.

She did announce that she would never again eat anything that cast a shadow ~ I asked if she had ever looked under a cauliflower.
