We seldom bother to fridge empty when we go away. Most things will keep safely for a week or two.

Butter, Cheese and the like are fine if you have an efficient fridge ~ unless you are one of those who turns it off before you go away.

Obviously veg and salad have to go as does any milk,cream and meat products but the beer, wine etc are not going to go off.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

One of my friends may be staying whilst I'm away anyway - she has keys. Her daughter's boyfriend has just moved in with them and she can't stand the slobbering and smooching 24 hrs a day  eeek:
