Runner bean soup, followed by roasted runner beans, with runner bean terrine, stirfried runner beans with garlic and ginger and for dessert  runner bean icecream with jus de runner bean. noooo:

Slice, blanch and freeze 'em.

Before homes had freezers my mum used to bottle them. If you want a recipe I can let you have it.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

That's very kind of you Snoops but no thanks many years ago when the dinosaurs first crawled out of the swamps I bottled loads of beans and salted a load too.  They were foul, grey things after the process. sick2:

When I finally got a freezer I did try blanching and freezing but again they lost their colour on cooking. evil:

BM and Miss D please supply addresses, preferably yours and I will send you some.
