Roast pork, pots and carrots ... glass or three of Merlot ... ... well, it's been a long day
We had custard yesterday on the baked apples and being as how this is the apple season when kind people give me their surplus something different seemed in order.Local farmer on his way to chapel this morning gave me a dozen free range eggs when he called in to pay his advertising bill so we have just had eggs for tea, 2 soft boiled for me, 4 scrambled on toast for THW and Minor. Minimus is egg sensitive and SWWTBO doesn't know what's good for her so that leaves 6 to go with bacon for tomorrow's brekky ~ for some of us.
