These Fray Bentos pies; d'you have a stash of them, like?  You buy them out there or are they shipped in specially?
I mean it's a long way from Uruguay to Cyprus for an order...  rubschin:

"Rob Stacey, Marketing Manager for Fray Bentos, says; ?The evolution of the Fray Bentos pie has led to the perfect recipes being created. These new modern recipes will attract sales from a wider consumer base without losing our original following of ?Great British Blokes?. Premier Foods and Fray Bentos are making it our priority to create the ultimate pie and hot canned meal which can be eaten by any family, couple, or student.?

Ponders whether BM qualifies as one of the Great British Blokes referred to ....  rubschin:

?Great British Blokes?  cloud9:

I bought four yesterday from the local supermarket in the village...

Minced beef and onion
Steak and ale
Steak and kidney
Steak and mushroom

We cooked the steak and ale and the steak and mushroom - quite frankly I couldn't tell the difference and none of us found any mushroom....

Delicious tho...

Great British Bloke eh...?  cloud9:

We bought a couple of these for the first time in ages ~ Is it our imagination or are they now smaller than they used to be?
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

But how does that work as you can't disguise the taste  and spitting your food out in public is still considered a social faux pas  redface:

My complaint has been lodged with Trading Standards for a long time now regarding the wrong labelling of foods  evil:
