Took wife out to lunch today. Boys came as well ~ shame that the THW was back at skool eveilgrin:

Nice pub lunch. I had their cod n chips, boys had burgers, wife had lamb shank. All had puddings and drinks as well. ?55 ..... still it is her burfday on Thursday and she is werking on the day so boys thought taking her out today would be a good idea.

Sometimes you prepare something that you think will work, but  noooo:
I didn't have the Chilli Con Carne (see previous page); I only posted that because it was three joys rolled into one, cooking, A Capella singing and Bosa Nova rhythm  cloud9:

Last night's other trout fillet (cold) and a stirfry veg  surrender:  About a third the way in I thought this is highly virtuous and seriously unenjoyable. Delete.

Prolly be snacking later ...  Drool:

Homemade lasagne, with chips bought from a nearby fish shop.

The fish shop is located on an estate of ill repute, but arguable the best chips for miles. I have a distinctive number plate and my face is known, so I have to park up off the estate and sneak in to the estate through the alleys. Well worth it though...

Careful...Al-Qaeda have hidden bombs in tins of Alphabet Spaghetti.

If they go off, they could spell disaster. Explode:
