Off to a dinner party tonight but the host won't be there, he is grounded in windmill country!   surrender:

Last night, food was lovely: spiced chicken on bean and lettuce cloud9: salad with garlic mayo, followed by marinated beef with peppers and potatoes, choice of 5 desserts (so we all had a bit of most of them), cheese board.

Desserts: chocolate roulade, lemon roulade, New York cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake and creme brulee. whistle:

(Fasting blood test first thing Monday  scared2:)

Fasting blood tests, which I have to have every three months, require that one should not eat and drink for 12 hours before the test. Water or sugarless black tea and coffee are permitted.
I normally eat at 6.30pm and get the test done the following morning at 9am. Simples!

So given my test is at 8.55 I could eat until 8.55 p.m.  rubschin: So why did they say 6?
