Anywhooo .... back to Dinner Tonight.

New cooker arrives tomorrow (How can Currys deliver Free on a Sunday but want £9.95 any other day?)

Sooooooooooooooo... Tonight we have a casserole done in the slow-cooker. Been on since this morning and smells delish!  Drool:

Currys rang to confirm delivery will happen but cannot give a time.

"Not between 1045 and 1105 I said otherwise you're fine."

"Why not between those times?"

"Because I live opposite a War Memorial and the road will be shut by the police"

"Why?"

 Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead

"Because there will be a Remembrance Service taking place"

"Oh well, if our drivers can't access they'll bring it back to the depot"

ARSE! ~ "Your fvcking drivers should be parked up for at least two minutes anyway"

"Why?"
 Explode:
I may not get a new cooker tomorrow after all.

Beef stir fry. I was briefly tempted by a sign outside a local fish shop which said GIANT SQUID, but I haven't got a big enough pan.

I am looking forward the the confrontation as their driver tries to turn round in the village High Street when the local rozzers flag him and all other traffic to a halt.

You have a proper fish shop.  I am envious.  Giant squid tastes of urine or so O am told.  All other squid. Drool:

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

More off than on at the moment. Am going to have to start being serious about it again though now that I have a "DRESS" to fit into.

rubschin: Living opposite a Chapel I see many "dresses" along with many ill fitting hired "morning" suits. Seems to me that the "DRESS" is nowadays designed to reveal more than it covers. Perhaps they are intended to show promise that is seldom, in my experience, transformed into reality.

But I am sure yours will be both lovely and demure.
