Definitely make a list!! People will buy presents anyhoo, and without a list they will buy stuff that they think you will like, and they will be wrong. When Mrs Nick and I got married we already had two houses, so we made no list. The appalling tat that was given to us was more appalling than an appalling thing. All of it was put back into boxes and still moulders somewhere  noooo:
