I used to live somewhere where we were called to each meal by someone sounding the gong to call us to the dining room.  Civilised and effective. Sunday mornings... hot chocolate, freshly baked white crusty rolls, butter and honey.  Oh delicious.   surrender:

Just been supplied with mahoosive dishes of turkey curry and pasta in meatballs, not sure what to go for first.
