Ta, TBH it should be a quiet one. Which is what we thought last night until it all went wrong on the M40. They were still freeing lorries at 1500hr's today. This report says some were stuck for eight hours, I reckon some were there for longer. Some good photos here ,I like the snowman  lol:

One of our drivers jumped out of the gritter into the central reserve to help push a stricken car out of the way so he could get past, he found himself up to his bollocks in snow  ;D  Should have ploughed him out of the way  ;)

Is he well hung or a short-arse?  rubschin:

Not sure that even the wellest hungest  bloke could be "well hung" if he was up to his bollix in snow.  8)

Chicken casserole 'n' spuds much later. I have to go and do a prezzie run + drink up near Waterloo.  I'm glad Eurostar has shifted up to St Pancras; apparently the queues are out onto the street at the moment  eeek:

I have asked the kitchen staff

The reply =  shrugs:

The cupboards and freezers are groaning under the weight of food stored for Christmas ... we will never eat it all .... why wait?

Jacket pots and beef stew.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
