I am drinking Dutch Lager, eating Dutch cheese with English crackers and Asian pears...

The Lager and the crackers were alright...the cheese had the consistency of latex (yes, I did take it out of the wrapper), and the pears had no taste whatsoeva...

Late Lunch:
Roast Leg of Wild Boar, New pots & veggies followed by Lemon Tart with Raspberry Coulis & Cream all washed down with a bottle of chilled Garnacha Rose .

Now enjoying a ciggy and then I shall take a nap in the sunshine. Perfick! cloud9:

Pleased with the smoked salmon and mackerel pates I made the other night, so fresh pots have been made and chilled, and will be enjoyed in a few minutes with wholemeal bread

Was out at family get together, so Prosecco and Leopards Leap was flowing (not for me I was driving), vegetarian lasagna (made while we talked), homegrown asparagus, green salad and dressing, sherry trifle, bread, cheeses, grapes. Lovely company.   angel1

The VP'ers have eaten well this bank holiday weekend, and not one mention of turkey. Bernard Matthews will be turning in his grave
