Approx. five years ago I had the best lamb shoulder I've ever tasted, three months later the pub changed hands and the old menu and I suspect butcher were ditched. Every time I've had lamb since then it has always been compared to that occasion and never lived up to it. It's been a long wait, but todays lamb beat it  cloud9:

The other Questionable Pie tonight so it must be the beef as last night's turned out to be the Thai Chicken. Some of those teeny weeny weggies too, steamed.
