Get the contestants to cook their own meal for super michelin starred chefs. Except it's not their recipes. Also they are supervised by another top chef and she won't let anything go out unless it's perfect as it is her name attached to it all. So if it's gonna be her recipes, made her way and with help from her kitchen staff ...what was the feckin point ?

Its not so much dumbed down as worked up....

As I said, the show is about knocking out some decent grub... Foody shows used to be fun (remember Graham Kerr?) But Master Mind Chef tries to take it to a new level of complexity, difficulty and importance... Get a life for gawds sake and get rid of that ghastly female voice-over-tartlet...  noooo:
