Just roasted  me a big fat chicken like. cloud9:

Tell me. How do you's lot transfer it from the stinking hot roasting tin full of boiling oil and stuff onto the slicing plate thingy?
Must be an easier way other than juggling it between two forks I'd have thought. rubschin:

Personally I use either BBQ Tongs

OR
"Bear Paw" meat handling forks

OR
A pair of carving forks

All work well ~ the ones I use depends on what is to hand i.e. whichever is visible when I open the drawer.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

1st one, you can't get enough grip, and the chicken wobbles.

2nd ones look most excellent. Not seen them before tbh rubschin:
I likes them.

Eldest daughter got the bear paw meat lifters from the States for me ~ never seen them in the UK.
Amazon sell them from the USA but NOT on their British site.

Lakeland do a set of two meat lifting forks quite cheap
