Bangers, cauli cheese 'n' carrots   rubschin:

I was gifted a jar of Maille Veloutée the other day ...  cloud9:   Veloutée sounds like Hello and Goodbye in Latin; I'm sure DS will concur  rubschin:

If you are speaking to one person: Vale.
If to more than one person: Valete.
'Valedico' is 'to say goodbye'. 'Ego vobis valedico.' 'I say goodbye to you.' (for more than one person).

Anyhoo, 'twas the first time I made beetroot and feta ravioli tonight. YUM!
